1. Service agreement
Penscribe provides publishing and writing services as outlined in individual Scope of Work documents signed per project. The Scope of Work governs deliverables, timelines, and pricing for each engagement.
2. Intellectual property
All work product created by Penscribe for the client transfers to the client upon receipt of final payment. Penscribe retains no license, ownership stake, or royalty interest in completed work. Your book is your book.
3. Client responsibilities
The client agrees to provide timely feedback, approvals, and source content as agreed in the Scope of Work. Delays caused by client inaction may extend project timelines and, in extended cases, trigger rescheduling fees.
4. Payment terms
Projects require a deposit of 30–50% of total project cost before work begins. Remaining payment is milestone-based as outlined in the Scope of Work. Accepted methods are listed at signing.
5. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of project details, draft material, and proprietary information. A separate NDA is available upon request and may be required for sensitive projects.
6. Limitation of liability

8. Termination
Either party may terminate the engagement with written notice. Termination triggers the refund terms outlined in our Refund Policy.
